Unruly Botanicals

Unruly Botanicals is an exhibition of beauty, trouble, and reputation rehab. It celebrates the plants we’ve feared, worshipped, outlawed, and misunderstood—psychedelics and poisons, saints and scapegoats—rendered in lush, Art Nouveau-inspired works that wind between reverence and rebellion.

These aren’t polite flowers. They’ve sparked empires, colonised bodies, healed and harmed in equal measure. This work doesn’t tidy up their stories—it lets them bloom in all their glory and contradiction. Expect ornamental chaos, tangled histories, and the kind of beauty that misbehaves.
